To verify my education you can call the University
of Toronto at 416-978-7070, or email them at
osrc.info@utoronto.ca . You'll need to give
them my name which is Dawn Sutton and my
date of birth,
Mar.10, 1954, and the degrees and years of
graduation that you are confirming (see above.)
I have done volunteer Christian counselling
on and off throughout the past twenty years.
I provided therapy to patients at the Clarke
Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto for my Masters
practicum. Other work experience includes working
at a Shelter for Abused Women and as a Child
Protection Worker for Chidlren's Aid Societies.
I have been involved in private practice counselling
since 1995.
I employ a therapeutic approach that I feel
is most appropriate for your issues, needs, and
circumstances. I have experience with Rogerian
client-centered therapy, solution-focused brief
therapy, psychodynamic, and the cognitive-behavioural
counselling approach, but I will relate to you
in a way that I am sure will make you feel comfortable
sharing your problems with me. I do counselling
because I have a heart to help others who are
hurting and in need of support.
